We are constantly being swayed by what we see and hear. The news puts a spin to what they want you to believe. The report on the stories they want you to hear. Hollywood puts things in their movies and TV shows to push your opinion in one direction or another.
Ever watch Law and Order on NBC (NBC has a huge left wing agenda) on the SVU version of the show you hear how little a NYC Detective makes almost every episode. Part of the left wing agenda is big government. The government knows better than you do, they should control your decisions. You should feel bad that you don't pay Government Employees enough. That is far from the truth, Government employees make on average 22% more than their private sector counter parts with much lower benefit package (retirement and health care plan) cost. The average salary of a NYC Detective is $54,000 per year with a top end earner being over $100,000. The median salary of NYC residences is just over $50,000. Median salary is a household salary. So the poor NYC Detective makes more than the average couple in NYC. A Hollywood Lie.
I watched a movie on Netflix the other day. It was a disaster movie, about 20 minutes into the movie, the agenda came out. It was all about how fossil fuels were destroying the ozone. I thought it was spray cans doing that?
Do we want Hollywood making entertaining movies or giving us agenda based lessons that we pay $8 to $15 a ticket for? The movie Cars 2, those who watched it, who caught the references to "Big Oil"? I have even heard people who I know who even though they say do not "lean" either way, they "lean left" complain about the agenda of the new movie ""Lorax". They are going after our kids, getting them early, can we say Hitler Youth?
Do not forget that Hitler took over the media, than he took over the health system, then the working class, then the businesses and then he tried to take over the world. He used the German film industry and it's biggest stars to get his message and ideas across.
Hollywood is quickly becoming the new yellow journalism.
Just watch the shows targeted at teens. They are filled with Hollywood's agenda, an agenda that if most parents really paid attention to, would be outraged. These shows have to have gay and lesbian couples, have to have teenagers having sex, have to ave teens using drugs and alcohol. They do not want teens making choices, they want to put the ideas in their heads. People will make choices to decide what life style they will follow. I am not here to debate my beliefs on this matter, it is not my choice. Just let this be known that Jesus loves all of his children. Let children learn values at home not on TV or even at school, school is for academics.
Just look at the agenda relating to the birth control issue. If we try to say Jesus in a Government Building the ACLU will be running to the nearest courthouse. When the Government goes running into a Church and starts making rules for a religion it is OK. Where is the outrage from Hollywood here?
